Yep, my art is getting stale again. But it's good when people let me know that my work is starting to suck again, that's how I get to learn how to suck less at drawi-I mean take the time to improve, haha. (It's the same to me to be honest.) Sorry that I'm not the type of artist that can throw out masterpiece after masterpiece guys TT__TT I have a lot of flaws in my work that you may or may not see that need fixing now before I fall behind. I just hope with how behind I feel that it won't take too long to get back in the groove. I'll see ya soon guys. Maybe I'll post some sketches here and there but I'm being told to stay off my completed work regimen as it only trains me in stuff I already know how to do well and not the things that need work. If you could provide sources as to where you think I could improve that would also be great. But that's all for now, again, I'll see ya soon. (Sorry new Watchers who were expecting regular posts I've gotta study a bit more... >.<)

Anima's Top 20 Least Favorite Oblivia Characters
Annnnd now for the opposing half. Yes, naturally I believe some of my characters aren’t the best. Some are even completely bad in my opinion and that is what this list is for, mainly to draw out the flaws of these characters to better understand what I could do to make them better. Of course, like the other list all characters are owned by me; Michael Caraballo / Anima and should not be used without credit. This list will likely still have some spoilers, but probably not as many as the other. Enjoy!

Anima's Top 20 Favorite Oblivia Characters
This is a little something I thought about doing the other day, it makes sense because it helps me know who works well to me and who needs to be worked ON. Yes, that means that there will be a Top 20 Least Favorite too buuut I'm lazy so expect that whenever. Let’s get started then. I think it goes without word that all characters are owned by me; Michael Caraballo / Anima and should not be used without credit. Also be wary, this list contains SPOILERS.
20. Naamah Shinseina from: Oblivia II - Arisu no Shiro
Alright so starting the list off is Naamah. I know I talk a lot of shit about Oblivia II, but Naamah is among the cast’s gre
Art Exposure Meme~
MEME RULES:
Feature 10 people.
If you are featured in this journal, if you want to submit a journal like this one and do the same thing, putting me in the first spot. The idea here is not to get a free feature, but to spread art around for everyone.
-------------------
Hey! I was tagged in this super cool idea that I think would be nice to help some people out to get exposure!
You guys don't have to make another journal with me in it if you don't want to, but it would be nice if you did the same to your choice of ten artists if not me. ^_^
Here are my lovely choices <3

I don't think that your drawings suck or have started to suck necessarily. Here are a few ways that I think you can take your drawings to the next level. I'm adding some video resources to help you do that:
Improve your shading and range of colors
Right now I can see that you know how to shade characters, but the shading it self looks kind of flat. I don't know if that's because you only have a limited supply of colored pencils or if you are just going through a very vibrant phase and that's just what you like. Honestly try adding some black or dark grey tones to your drawings, or jewel toned colors that would work well with the object you're shading. By adding richer and deeper colors to where the shadows will be will kinda force you to blend more and have a gradual change in color until you reach the highlights. This will add more dimension to your drawings. I know this is a digital drawing tutorial, but you could use FreshPaint , MS Paint, or Gimp to pick colors on the color wheel or color cube and then you could always pick the closest pencils to match.

Vary the pressure you use when coloring
As a traditional artist this is a great time for your to practice varying the pressure you apply on your pencils when you are shading. Varying the pressure you use when you color with colored pencils allows you to get a richer and wider variety of colors out of the same pencil. As an artist I'm sure you already know that more pressure with a pencil means a darker, richer, and thicker color. Light pressure will give you a thinner, smaller, and less visible color. I used to overlook this when using colored pencils...
